What time can we meet?

An hour to hour and a half before sunset is the best lighting and what I highly recommend, but we can do a little earlier if needed if the location is shaded. For newborns I typically take photos around mid-morning, 1030/11am. Daytime studio options coming in 2024.

Where do you take pictures?

All over! I know of great spots to take pictures in Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Amelia County, Hopewell, Henrico, the City of Richmond, etc. If you know of a spot that you think might be great, I am happy to check it out!

What should I wear?

I offer an online, no extra cost to you, styling service! It makes it so much easier to coordinate colors and find pieces that photograph well. I love collaborating on what to wear and to have clients send me pictures of their outfits. We can discuss this prior to the session to make sure you get the best pictures! I will also send over a style guide with a lot of information to help.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, please! Make sure we chat about it ahead of time!

Do you have packages?

Yes! If 2 sessions are booked at the same time (Aka newborn + maternity or family) you will receive $100 off. Payments split between sessions after deposit. Additional discounts available for more than 2 sessions booked (Aka maternity + Fresh 48 + newborn) Payments plans are available.

How long until my pictures are ready?

Galleries are delivered within 30 days

Is there a deposit?

Yes, a $50 deposit is due at booking to hold your time and is applied to the session.

Do you offer mini sessions?

Yes, at certain times of year on specific dates. Typically Spring, Summer, Fall, and Christmas. These are announced on my Facebook page or in an email newsletter.
