Before our session…
Prior to our session, after we book, we will collaborate on your vision and decide on a location perfect for you if an outdoor session. We will also discuss clothing and styling and I will provide you with a style guide and the code for you to start using the online styling tool: www.styleandselect.com. I am happy to look at pictures and give advice on what to wear as well. For newborn sessions I will send over a newborn prep guide and ask about any colors, etc you would like to incorporate.
What to expect during our session…
We will start with the posed shots, make sure we get some of everyone looking at the camera, and then it’s time to relax. I love capturing images of people having fun together, cuddling, and just enjoying each other and having a connection. Let the kids be kids and I’ll give suggestions to help get them smiling and having a good time. It’s often the moments right before and after a suggested pose that are the best! For newborns I start with the family and siblings, then just parents, and then posed photos with baby in props and wraps that I provide.
After our session…
Your edited, high resolution photos will be delivered via an online gallery for you to download and print if you like. This usually happens in about 2-3 weeks. Please plan for longer times in the Fall/Holiday season, 3-4 weeks.
