Portrait sessions are typically scheduled during golden hour, about an hour to an hour and a half before sunset, when the light is at its most beautiful. Full sessions allow plenty of time for everyone to settle in without feeling rushed.

We’ll capture a mix of traditional portraits, different combinations of family members, and plenty of playful, connected moments along the way.

Your session includes:

• 60–90 minutes of session time

• All of the best images from your session — typically 50–100+ images in both color and black & white

• A location guide with photos and details to help you choose the perfect setting

• A style guide and personalized help coordinating outfits

• Access to 3–4 dresses available to borrow for maternity or family sessions

• Outfit changes as time allows

• Payment plans available

Extended family sessions are also available. Contact me for pricing and details for groups larger than six.

In Your Home

Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home and include photos with parents, siblings, and pets, along with simple individual portraits of your baby. I provide wraps and sweet newborn outfits to use as needed, and I’m always happy to incorporate special pieces of your own.

For families who would like more posed images, you can add a set of gently posed newborn portraits using curated baskets, buckets, wraps, and soft studio props that I bring to your home.

In the Studio

Studio newborn sessions include photos with parents and siblings, along with gently posed individual portraits of your baby using a variety of wraps, outfits, baskets, buckets, and props that I provide.

All newborn sessions include:

• All of the best images from your session — typically 50–100+ images in both color and black & white

• A newborn session prep guide

• A style guide and personalized help with family outfits

• Wraps and newborn outfits for baby

• Pre-session consultation and planning as needed

• Payment plans available

Infant Massage Add-On

Infant massage instruction can be added to your newborn session and is personally taught by me as a Certified Educator of Infant Massage. Parents receive hands-on guidance and learn simple techniques to support bonding, relaxation, and their baby’s comfort.

Milestone session

Milestone & Cake Smash Sessions

Perfect for celebrating all the little (and big!) milestones — sitting, first birthdays, cake smashes, birthdays, and more. Sessions can take place outdoors or in my Midlothian home studio, with different options available depending on the type of session you’re looking for.

Milestone sessions include:

• 20 high-resolution, fully edited digital images selected from a proof gallery

• Simple props and styling for your milestone

• A coordinating balloon bouquet that you can take home after the session

• Siblings are always welcome to be included

• The option to upgrade to a more customized or themed setup for studio sessions

• Cake smash sessions can include a professionally made cake for an additional $35, or you’re welcome to bring your own

If you’d like to include parents or additional family members, I recommend booking a full family/portrait session and incorporating the milestone or cake smash into your session. This gives us plenty of time for both family photographs and individual milestone images.
